Professor Dr. phil. Ralf Roth was born May 6th, 1957 in Mainz. He is married and the father of 2 children.

Co-editor for the Zeitschrift für Weltgeschicht (ZWG) (Journal of World History) and cooperation with the redaction of the Informationen zur Modernen Stadtgeschichte (IMS) (Journal for Modern Urban History).
